Next Stop on the Producer J. World Tour Is...

Boston! By way of Providence, RI.

Anyone want to take a wild guess at why I'm headed to the Northeast?

  1. Uh... Kenny concert? Red Sox game? To see the spectacular Lish?

Regardless - when do Paula & I get to take you OUT! :)

  2. Cause you're making a secret trip to DC?

  5. I wasn't talking to you. :-P Your guess was NOT the correct one.

  6. When!!!!!

I hope the right anser is that you are going to see Lish and not for the Kenny concert this weekend. Ugh...I'm not going to be around unless you're coming in on Friday!

I'm not real familiar with Providence, except for passing through on my way to Green Airport.

  7. No Shoes radio starts Saturday! :) I bet there's a big announcement at his show, huh?

  8. Thanks J for making me hungry. I am guessing that you are flying SW to Providence and driving to the Boston area. Traffic could be fun during rush hour and if there is any accidents or construction going on.

  9. Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!

Leaving Friday, flying to Providence... driving to Norwood, MA that night where I have a hotel... spending all day Saturday in Foxboro at the stadium for the live launch of "No Shoes Radio"... back to the hotel that night / morning... spending Sunday morning doing something touristy somewhere (like, getting clam chowder?) and flying home Sunday afternoon.

This is all slightly complicated by the fact that I don't have a plane ticket yet and the flight I wanted home is sold out. So we'll see what they wind up doing with me.

  11. What a waste of a radio station LOL

During a road trip to Cannon AFB, Clovis New Mexico I was reminded of two things....... how much I love XM on a road. Switched a lot between 16 and 11. Just changed back when the ads and DJ chatter came on 11. LOL

The second thing....... How VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY glad I am we were never stationed at Cannon.

  12. Sell 'em on Ebay.

We saw the Eagles on the FIRST leg of their Farewell Tour. How long can you say Goodbye for?

  13. Providence on a Friday night - could be fun with the Cape traffic. Maybe I could get a cheap ticket for the show since I have nothing better to do.

  14. We've already established that I'm no good at selling tickets, since I've been stuck with more than I count!

P.S. I'm glad No Shoes radio isn't taking over U.S. Country, or any other station I like. Cause I was scared for a while.

  15. Okay back up the truck....

First off - I know PVD is closer to Foxboro, but you could fly into MHT and drive down. SW flies there too.

And um... I know you'll have fun at the concert... glad I don't have to go though. :)

As stated, watch out though - the whole world will be going to the Cape on Friday... well those not going to Foxboro for the madness. I,however, will be running Bye Bye Birdie all weekend. Woo Hoo my life.

Providence is a great town though... what do you need to know? I don't know THAT much but I have people. :)

  16. Good idea lish to avoid the traffic. Another option is BDL in Connecticut and drive over which is about 20 minute difference in time versus MHT
