They seriously played "Only In America" like 15 minutes before Obama came out to speak in Chicago. I was proud to hear country music being represented at such a historic event in my kind of hometown.
ps sorry about the deletion of my previous comments. I forget how to spell and use grammar after 10pm. haha
What an incredible day. I drove from Boston today feeling really heart-broken about moving. But now I am sitting in a random hotel in Cleveland thinking how hopeful I feel. I listened to XM all day, mostly Oprah & Friends... and I cried. I cried at how amazing it is to be an American. I think I lost sight of that..
Glad you voted girl, I know the process is frustrating but at least we do have a voice in a roundabout way.
It was exciting to get up this morning. I couldn't wait to turn on the TV and see who won. I saw the last bit of Obama's speech. They also showed a part of McCain's speech. I was impressed with both.
I hope that the future for America will hold many many good things for all Americans.
