I'm very excited about something I'm starting this year on Music City Holiday - our country Christmas channel. I had the idea last year too late to do anything about it. So we're launching it this year, in a small way, but I really hope it grows over the next couple of years to include more artists, and be something people really look forward to. If you are a fan of one of these artists, or a member of any sort of country music community, I'd appreciate any help in spreading the word. Promo copy and schedule is below - you can listen in on XM, DirecTV, or AOLRadio.com
‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and XM's country Christmas channel, "Music City Holiday" has a gift for you! Gather your family and join our celebrity storytellers at the top of each hour, beginning at 3pm Eastern on Christmas Eve, for a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Start a new Christmas tradition with your family – and our special guests Bill Anderson, Trisha Yearwood, and Sugarland! All night long, Christmas Eve – on Music City Holiday - XM 105 / DirecTV channel 809 / AOLRadio.com
**Fans should note, readings begin within 2 minutes before or after the hour. Schedule runs 3pm ET (Noon Pacific) to 3am ET (Midnight Pacific)

I have to tell you, the logs are all finished, and these sound amazing. All three readings are really something special. Each reading is followed up by that artist's song - with the exception of the 4pm ET, which goes directly into the Diamond Rio Artist Confidential.
Enjoy!
Very cool...maybe this will help to get me into the Christmas spirit.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas everyone!

Wow, awesome. I will try to listen to this after the dinner is over and the gifts are opened :) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThis is so wonderful, J! I don't know a lot about Sugarland, but I know Christmas is really special to Trisha, and Bill Anderson. Wow. :D
ReplyDeletethis is SOOOO COOL!
ReplyDeleteNow I just have to get near a high speed connection at some point that night in the cornfields.
What a cool idea - thank you for doing this!
woot!
wow what a cool idea. Can't wait to listen to it.
ReplyDeleteI see that these segments are the "featured highlight" for Monday on xmradio.com.
ReplyDeleteI also discovered that xmradio.com has a program schedule online that details what's on each station throughout the day for a two-week period. If this was there before, I could never find it and would only know what was on if it was a "featured" event or if you had told us about a show.

Oh excellent!
ReplyDeleteThe online program guide is new -- it just launched last week, and they're still working out some of the bugs. And typos. LOL
