Shows What I Know!

Last week a co-worker asked me "Whatever happened to Nashville Star?" I made some wise crack about it having fallen. (Falling Stars... get it?)

Ha! It's being picked up by NBC -- hello, major network - bu-bye cable! -- to air this summer.

When I'm wrong, I'm really REALLY wrong.

With any luck, they'll actually be able to find a star this time.

good to hear..

Last season was a disaster. However, seeing as how USA and NBC are under the same corporate umbrella, it's probably the best match- are there any other details you have yet? Such as a difference in hosts, etc? I know Jewel wasn't bad and with her country album in development- she could be good- the Judges (Anastasia brown- looks good- not good judge wise) aspect needs to be adjusted- and they need to be more, much more straight up w/ the contestants.. Yes, ala Idol on Fox..

still it's good to know it'll be back.. hopefully as you said- they'll find a star this year- Buddy Jewell. does he still have a deal? Brad Cotter- what happened to him? Erica Jo..... ditto.. Chris young- a little promising.... and this past year, Angela hacker.... . uggh- not good..

- Still alive and kickin...

Wasn't Miranda Lambert in Nashville star too? Or is my memory wrong... I'm not a big fan, but she had success though.

Speaking of Brad Cotter....back in 2005, My g/f (now my wife) and I went to the Spring Talladega race with my dad. He made friends several years back with some Realtree guys, so they always come by his camper to say hi and bring some cool stuff. This particular time they happened to have Brad Cotter with them....don't know why. It was quite funny, as we both thought he looked familiar...and also looked like ummmm...a pretty boy to put it nicely. Needless to say, standing on top of the camper watching the race with Brad Cotter was a unigue experience.

I liked Brad Cotter... very talented but had some personal issues as I understand :)

I hope they get a better host I liked Nancy the best and get rid of all the backstage nonsence.
