Mark these off the list:

Knish
Egg Cream
World of Disney Store
Seeing my friend Harriet
Carnegie Deli

And as a bonus -- I've located Macy's.

More later -- I'm headed to Joe's Pub!

You scared me for a moment going to Joe's - I thought I forgot about a show I had tickets for.

See y'all tomorrow at GMA

J, Sorry I couldn't see you guys this time. But to come to the city (that's what we locals call Manhattan) with my granddaughters wasn't an option for me!!

How in the world does "Hey Good Lookin" get nominated for single of the year????? Didn't that come out like 3 years ago????? Or has it just been overplayed so much I think it came out that long ago??? LOL

It's not single of the year - it's Vocal Event of the Year. And it's not the star studded version, it's the live version with Jimmy / Alan / George that was on the Texas Stadium live cd that they released last spring.

As for how... the power of UMG. 2nd biggest label conglomorate behind SonyBMG. No coincidence that George (UMG) and Brad (SonyBMG) got the most nominations.

What I can't find anyone to explain is Alison Krauss getting 4. And if she can be Female Vocalist and Vocal Group, then why can't Ronnie Dunn or Gary LeVox be a Male Vocalist nominee?

Ok... maybe just Ronnie Dunn.

AHHH... it was wonderful to see you AND to be there when you bit a knish for the first time and sipped your first sip of an egg-cream! Did you ever get to try the square kind that I told you you could get off any pushcart on the corner?
I agree that Kenny put on a good show, though from where I was sitting the sound wasn't that great, and we couldn't see even one little piece of that jumbo screen behind him... we were up and to the side.. sect. 314 if that means anything to you, lol... not only that, we didn't even have a good view of the overhead screen, so we pretty much had to just watch the action on the stage... and thanks for mentioning who he brought onstage.. I couldn't understand a word he said when he introduced them, although I figured they were Yankees...
Jo, you were missed!!
