New Kenny Chesney -- On the Way!

If there are any Kenny Chesney fans out there? We've got the new single coming up shortly on XM's Highway 16! Tune in, take a listen, and let us know what you think!

This could become like the battle of the country giants... I had almost a thousand page loads on my blog yesterday, and over 1500 on Saturday...

Sandi - No -- what do I look like, a request line? 866-754-0004

Scott - No -- I don't have internet access at home, and all I've checked so far today is my work email. But I'm sure I will get there, eventually.

New Kenny single already? Never Wanted Nothing More still seems pretty new to me, but I'll listen for it.

It's spent 5 weeks at #1 -- time for something new! LOL

Jon's already played it, but I'm sure Jay Thomas will have it again tonight after 6pm ET

I think it sounds like "The Good Stuff 2007"

Oh I always forget about them! Thanks for the reminder.

Now -- am I right? Does it remind anyone else of "The Good Stuff" or am I imagining it?

I missed the single--guess I thought it was the old one! :P

And yeah...I thought the same thing Marissa. There are a couple of artists that seem to have singles out every time you blink.

I've always enjoyed Kenny's music....ya J, it reminds me of 'The Good Stuff' too.

I'll pass on the Kenny single ;)

I heard the single because it came on after Trisha's new one...

No offense -but it sounds like everything else he does.

and by the by J - THANK YOU so much for everything this weekend and every day... I've been knee deep in tech rehearsals and haven't had much time to process it all but I'm damn excited about the future of the G-Man!!! Much thanks for taking the time to add such an amazing perspective to all of this. Mr. Brooks would be thanking you also... :)

Speaking of artists with new singles out every time you blink -- new Keith Urban released today too!

I think Jay will have it on his show tonight.

He played it Friday night. :) Maybe it was the upcoming press conference, the GRS, etc, but I kept thinnking of all the little "Garth" things in his show. How he had such contact with his fans, the walkway he used to get to the other end of the arena, making sure he got to every fan--i.e., Garth, things like that. Wild.

How about the new Hal Ketchum release? The new Kenny does sound like The Good Stuff after taking a listen.

Trent Willmon has a new single out too....... There Is A God.

You can hear it on his webite.

New CD comes out in January.

Yep, I'm more than a little excited after hearing some of the songs at the fan club party in June.

I'll take a pass on the new Kenny song. Is Hal Ketchum's new one something about "in front of the Alamo" ? Pretty soon you won't be able to dirve in front of the Alamo like the song says, they are closing off the street and making it a plaza.

If Hal's song is about the Alamo I heard the songwriter sing it at Joe's Pub here in NY!! How cool is that??

Yes, It is "In front of the Alamo" and you can hear it at his website http://www.halketchum.com/

He must have a hidden love child. Just saw the video premiere for this song... what is up with this? Definitely a cross between Good Stuff and There Goes My Life!
