Ok, am I the only one that thinks it's wierd to name a child Sunday, especially given that she was born on Monday?

It sounds like a good name for a song....maybe they plan on having 6 more kids?? Monday, Tuesday...

Maybe she was conceived on a Sunday... :P

Congratulations to the couple- maybe they'll fade out of the limelight for just a little bit and give us all a rest- not likely as they will be on future country weekly covers no doubt, with their "baby pictures" etc..

a decently normal name, though typical of hollywood/celebrity weirdness- not as bad as gwynneth paltrow's baby being named 'apple' though.

No, J, you're not alone. That poor kid is going to get picked on like mad in school.

They don't put themselves in the limelight; they are living their lives as normal as they can. Why is it their fault they get photographed at Starbucks and Target. Are they supposed to stay in their home all day every day?

Congratulations to Nicole and Keith :)

I think the name is a bit weird too. Why can't celebrities give their kids normal names?

Another stupid celebrity birthday name, but congrats!

thanks for the update! July babies ROCK! :)

I'm sure SUNDAY has some sort of significance to their lives. Maybe they'll call her Rose anyway.

I got to name the teddy bear that is in our soon-to-open production of Bye, Bye Birdie. Its name is BROOKS. :)

Of course it is, Lish. :)

I think Sunday is a cute name. strange she came on Monday but hopefully they had the name picked out before she came on Monday. He does have the song Raning on Sunday. ;)

Congrats to the happy couple and their newborn.

I also think Sunday is weird. I sure hope they will call her Rose.

Very very cool! I imagine Mr Brooks will be impressed by the date lol.

As for the name...an Aussie reporter apparently said this.... "the name Sunday was chosen because it has a special family significance. And confirmed that the Rose was for Keith's grandmother".

I guess we'll find out eventually.

I expected something a little strange but 'Sunday' good God!!

I don't see what's so unusual about the name Sunday. My cousin who is in her late thirties is named Sunday. When we were growing up I didn't think that there was anything strange about her name. Amd I certainly don't remember kids making fun of her because of it.

I guess your cousin was lucky :)

you trust wikipedia? LOL

There was a Yahoo news item today that Sandi sent me that told the story of Nicole's dad furnishing the name suggeston.

Apparently the artist named Sunday lived her life in nifty little 3 way.

And I'm not talkin' about a chat.

Interesting.

To 'anonymous', who doesn't have the balls to show themselves whilst making smartass/moronic comments...

I am very aware of the reputation of Wikipedia, I merely used that link as it was the first one that shows up when Googled, which is what most people would click on, and I only wanted a basic rundown of the person in question anyway.
Just so you know though, I did however read through other links and found them to be similar in content.
