My Employer

Sitting in a hotel lobby in MA, wearing my XM shirt, I learned --

I now officially work for Sirius Satellite Radio.

but when the merger goes through, will your country channel take over sirius' channel programming wise?

I bought a sirius sattelite radio for my wife, due to Nascar being on there. We're hoping that they bring (ok I'M hoping.) that they bring Sirius' nascar coverage into being with XM's MLB coverage

Woof!

It was great to see you. The food was good...the company was better. Enjoy your day tomorrow and hope you get to do something fun on Sunday before heading back.

Do you guys see this as good or bad (or do you not want to say publicly)? I'm a subscriber to both services, and each does have their own strengths and weaknesses. But I'm glad for the merger because I feared for the survival of either company alone, and I would be horribly sad if they went away. Two may be better than one, but one is better than zero...

Anyway, I hope everything works out well for you and your colleagues.

Both. Good for me as a stockholder, good for me as a subscriber. More choice, lower prices, yada yada yada. As an employee? It makes me sad. For a whole lot of reasons that I'll probably blog about some day when I'm sitting around enjoying my severence package. LOL

If you're a subscriber, you should be very, very excited. To borrow from our friend Miley -- you get the best of both worlds.
