$3.42!

That's the price of gas at the Kroger by my house. $3.42 a gallon. Yikes.

One gallon here is 11$, welcome to Norway. But the income here is higher than in the US, so it's probably almost the same.

It's $3.20 something here. And now we live 30 miles farther away from where Jim works and the kids go to school. UGH And the oil companies continue to rake in BILLIONS of dollars.

I bought a gallon of skim milk today for $4.89 so it is not only the price of gas that is high. Everything else is going up as well because it takes gasoline to bring the goods to the stores. My husband would like to retire but with the high prices, we don't know if we could make it with just social security and our IRAs.

It's about $1.14 here a litre, which converted to a US gallon is about $4.32.

I love that gas is going up rapidly when I get to take 7 hour trip hour home from school really soon. At least I have a car, my parents are coming down to help me move out, so they'll be driving almost 900 miles in their huge land yacht (envoy XL). I'm thinking it might be cheaper to ship my stuff home lol.

$4.89 for a gallon of milk!!!! That's robbery.

It's $3.48 here... can get it a little cheaper at Aldi's or Sam's.

And you're right -- EVERYTHING is getting ridiculous. Even the little meals Delaynie takes in her lunches which I bought for $2.08 at the beginning of the school year, are $2.69 now. More PB&J for her!

Gas is $3.19 in Massachusetts. But I've still got my bike tuned up so I can ride it to work. :)

$4.89 for milk? Not organic? Our organic gallons are around $6.

Yes, I'm a damn treehugger.

You should come out west to Los Angeles and you can pay 3.89 for gas. I don't know about milk, I don't drink it.

Its $3.35 here; bad news if you have to drive for your work. I can't exactly show houses by metro.

We buy milk by the half gallon as there's only 2 of us, and its $1.89here. I can't believe how much produce has gone up. I can't wait for the farmer's market to start up.
