Hard to believe it, but CMA Music Fest (I just had to backup and re-type, because I typed Fan Fair) is just around the corner. We have begun the massive task of planning our even more massive coverage. There are some AWESOME things in the work already.
SO. Who's coming to town, and what fan club parties will you be attending?
There WILL be a Monday Morning gathering of the Producer J. Blog Readers... location TBD... so don't plan on flying out early.

I can't go this year. My oldest is graduating form High School and they neglected to consult me when they extended the school year one week. LOL Graduation is June 6th. And somehow I don't think hubby will let me fly to NAshville early that week, fly back to TX for graduation on Friday and fly back on Saturday. ROFL
If I was able to go..... I'd be going to Ty England, Trent Willmon, Mark Wills, And as many other Fan Club parties as I could squeeze in.
Oh well maybe 2009.
I'll be there. Have 2 parties this so far. Kathy Mattea and Lady Antebellum. Would love to stay until the following Monday but don't think I can swing it.
I'll be in tech rehearsals for "Contact" - but I'll expect reports!!! Maybe I can fly in for the Monday gathering! I need some salsa!

I'll probably just go to one party, and maybe Chely's benefit, depending on when it is--I'll try to stick around until Monday, but who knows... :(
I'll be there, and our flight doesn't leave until late Monday afternoon...so I'm in. Do you mean there's somewhere else to gather on Monday morning??
The only fan club parties I've heard about are Buddy Jewell and Trisha's. Buddy's isn't in downtown Nashville...and it's on Friday afternoon when the Riverfront shows are taking place. There are some artists who are playing the Riverfront that day who we want to see, so we're passing on that party. Just got the information on Trisha's today, and it's on Thursday afternoon, again while the Riverfront shows are taking place. I'll have to check the Riverfront schedule with my sister to see what we want to do. We haven't heard anything about a fan club party for JoDee yet, and I haven't been on her board to see if there has been any discussion about plans for one. I wish they would have these parties in the morning before the other shows start.
The other fan clubs I belong to don't generally hold fan club parties.
We are going to the Tuesday night Opry and the Late Night Jam on Wednesday night.

I'm not sure if I've been back since you physically moved...when was that? Had you moved when we messed up the Preston's bathroom? :) I know I've been by the outside of your place, though.

We drove by it when I put a contract on it... but I don't think we had a contract on the one we were selling yet. That was the last time you did my hair. *sniff*sniff* We moved Aug. 4th.
