Happy Hell Week!

I just know the day is coming when someone from the CMA pulls me over and says..."umm Joyce... we'd really rather you didn't refer to our biggest event as 'Hell Week', ok?"

Ready or not - it's here! I have shipped my daughter off to camp, cleaned the house, and broken in new Sketchers. I even bought this ridiculously large pill box and am setting cell phone alarms to make me take all my meds this week (which would work better if I could A) find one of my meds that I'm missing and B)figure out which med is making me nautious when I do take it.) Feel free to ask if I've been drugged lately when you see me.

I've also prepped ridiculous amounts of note cards for our air talent this week and stuffed hundreds of goodie bags. At some point, I move downtown, which I haven't yet packed for, but I don't think that happens for a couple more days.

My first event today is a Gretchen Wilson graduation party, and my day ends with a Pizza & Planning meeting in our new offices.

Probably lots of audio blogging from here on out! Will check in as I can.

-sorry you are having med problems-

Take a few minutes and call your pharmacy to ask about interaction between the drugs. Maybe you need to take them with food, not take them at the same time, etc. etc. etc.

good luck

Maybe you should EAT when you take your meds? And not just mountain dew it? :P

Good luck!!

Hope the week goes smoothly...have you officially moved into your new digs yet?

Hope you've found the missing meds and that everything is okay.

I'm packed...finally, and will be winging my way in the morning to that 90 degree weather I see you're having. I'll touch base with you at some point. We're headed to Opry Mills tomorrow afternoon and the Opry tomorrow night, but will be hanging around downtown all day on Wednesday.

Wish I was there......... but even if it wasn't graduation on Friday....... the graduate fell and broke her leg on Saturday night so I probably wouldn't have been able to come anyway LOL

A cast makes such a lovely accessory to a graduation gown don't you think???????

Good luck this week Joyce. Take care of yourself.

Did you explain to 'them' that 'Hell Week' is not deragatory? It's HELL on your body whether you're working or attending but it's worth every minute!!! NO sleep, moving moving moving, constantly scanning the crowd for FAMOUS people, working desperately to stay calm when you find one of 'them FAMOUS people'!

It's exhausting - but who said HELL wouldn't be fun! We all want to play with that cute little devil once in awhile!!

Definition:
Hell Week - period of one week's time in Nashville, TN, in June, repeated yearly, when one gives in to all sensibilities and allows oneself to thoroughly enjoy every minute of every day. (sleep optional!)

How can THAT be deragatory???
