Auckland, NZ - May 2007
So -- let's start a list of songs about Bridges. Because I can't come up with any that talk about being terrified of Bridges, (Or, for that matter, crazy little brothers who Bungee off of them...) so I might need to write one.
Burning Bridges - Brooks & Dunn
We'll Burn That Bridge - Brooks & Dunn Hmm... maybe they have a phobia too?
Which Bridge to Cross, Which Bridge To Burn - Vince Gill
London Bridge -- does that count?

Neko Case has a song called "Mood to Burn Bridges," but it's of course not literally about bridges ;-)
Bridge Over Troubled Water is a classic, but again not really so much about bridges.
So I guess I have nothing truly useful to contribute. I tried!
I can only think of one...
Love Can a Bridge- The Judds
"Ode to Billy Joe" by Bobby Gentry is about Billy Joe jumping off the Talahatchee Bridge.
Mary Ann
Elton John - The Bridge
Garth have a Burning Bridges too ;)
"Bridges" by Lifehouse and "London Bridge" by Fergie
Seven Bridges Road - The Eagles
so funny I just listend to Garth sing Burning Bridges this afternoon .
Todd Bridges? Oh yeah, you're looking for songs with the word "bridges" in it. Not 80's sitcom has-beens. My bad! :-)
Here I figured someone would bring up the song "Anonymous"...
Welcome to the newbie posters - nice to have you! Chris -- are you my longtime Jax Comcast lurker? :-)
My favorites so far are "Love Can Build A Bridge" (DUH! How did I forget that one!) and "Seven Bridges Road."
Jen -- did you sell the house on MacMurray? We drove by there yesterday and didn't see a sign.
Random amusing note -- I had a site visitor from Stillwater, OK today. They got here by googling Carrie Underwood.
Excuse me/ Oh will you excuse me/ I'm just trying to find the bridge... Has anybody seen the bridge?
(Have you seen the bridge?)/ I ain't seen the bridge!/ (Where's that confounded bridge?)
-Led Zeppelin, 'The Crunge'
Yes, I am! I have been visiting daily for the last 2-3 years but always posted as Anonymous because it was easier. You forced me to get an account when you changed the comment policy.
hee hee hee!
Some good came out of our Spammer friend then! Nice to have you. :-)
What about 'I Don't Have to Wonder?'
Woops -- sorry, that was the one I was thinking of, not Anonymous.
I have the smartest blog readers in the world!
I hope ya like Auckland, its lovely by the water front, Im traveling up there from the south island for the Billy Joel concert in December.
Only a months late, but isn't the B&D song called "Building Bridges", not burning them?
"Bridge Over Jordan" recorded by many different gospel artists...
