Seriously??? I need to know...stuff!! :) What did they sing, did people go crazy, was it awesome? Just when I thought I really didn't need to do road trips.
Wow... um... color me 12 kinds of jealous :) Thanks for sharing these! Soon, I'll be closer to do some road trips and force Sandi to come too! :) WOOT!
Is he ever?? The man's a slouch when he's off tour. He looks nice an slim in the photos, though.
Pam- the style is call 'stacked'; when you ride on a horse your jeans hike up, exposing your boots. Boots are expensive, whereas jeans aren't so most people who ride daily buy jeans 3-4 inches to long and 'stack' the excess material between the instep and the knee. Then once in the saddle no excess boot is exposed to get scratched up by brush and undergrowth. Garth's are stacked on the top of his workboots, the goof!
Hi Joyce! I have been unable to remember my password for months but after numerous attempts tonight I finally figured it out. I wanted to tell you what a neat job you have! Were you surprised when Garth and Trisha came out on stage? Did the crowd go wild? What did he sing?
oooh - we wear our jeans stacked for riding motorcycle too! Think he's taken up motorcyle ridin'?? Probably not - bet he was just horsin' around. (he he)
Guess I don't travel in the right circles then. Either that or I completely missed it because I hadn't heard about this anywhere. In any event, I can't wait to hear whatever details you can share about your encounters this week.

Whats the deal with GB's jeans??? THey look like they are several inches to long and aren't wide enough to go over his boots LOL
I wanna live in Nashville !!!!!!!!!
Total sadness...I was a few miles away taking an A&R Admin test while this was happening.
He was DEFINITELY not dressed for the occasion.

Garth looked like he forgot to get dressed up for the event but he sounded great. Here are my pics

Garth sang "Don't Cross the River" "Walk Away Joe" with Trisha then Trisha sang The Nightingale (beautiful) and Garth sang "Callin Baton Rouge"
Great pics Joyce and Jen...thanks. CMT.com said it was the best kept secret. Looks like it was an incredible evening.
Looking forward to having you fill us in on your week's events and encounteres. Well...maybe not all...I can pass on KC. :p

the BEST kept secret? odd. I didn't think it was a secret at all.
I didn't know John Cowan was going to be there, so that made it really cool.
Cool! Great pics, J. Thanks!
Don't care what Garth looks like... as long as he sounds good. :D
Great pics, Jen. Thanks for sharing them :)
Would have loved to hear "Don't cross the river"
Garth's jeans... not very nice LOL
Definitely wasn't a secret...just wish I had been able to go. Glad you made it, J!

Awesome pics J and Jennifer! I bet it was awesome. One of these days I will move to Nashville and pursue my dreams before it is too late.
You could be onto something, Sharon. After all Trisha does have a Harley. :)
