I'm not. My 5th Grader is currently making a Powerpoint Presentation on Deciduous Forests. I've never in my life made a Powerpoint Presentation. I didn't even know I had PowerPoint on our computer.
If I play my cards right, I'm thinking that soon I'll be able to have her balancing the checkbook and doing our taxes.

I've been working on a computer for 32 years; still haven;t figured out Power Point.
Power Point is awesome! And please forget I said that before Fan Fair. :)
I have no idea how to use powerpoint either. But both my kids know how too... lol

Well, I got two. Marie-Therese is 16 years. She is in her first year at our kind of High school, learning about photography, web-design, photoshop and those kind of classes. My other one is Marcus. He is 10 years, and in 5th grade. Both very beautiful of course ;)
It is mind boggling to me how much children know about computers. My three year old grandson loves to play computer games and told me the other day, "just find the dot com and click on Ben Ten". He has never had a computer class. As for Power Point, I just learned how to get them to show on my computer. I know I don't know how to use it.
LOL! Tina is a 5th grader too and she had a book presentation the other day. She also used Power Point for that. She got an "A" for the presentation :D
I do know how to use PP, but Tina has learned all the cool stuff... words flying in and using sounds etc... from her dad!

Don't be afraid. Powerpoint is great and is sooo easy to learn to do. It makes you look so professional and polished. Ask your child to show you how to put one together. You'll be AMAZED how fun and easy it can be.
