My Christmas Gift to the XM Nation

I'm very excited about something I'm starting this year on Music City Holiday - our country Christmas channel. I had the idea last year too late to do anything about it. So we're launching it this year, in a small way, but I really hope it grows over the next couple of years to include more artists, and be something people really look forward to. If you are a fan of one of these artists, or a member of any sort of country music community, I'd appreciate any help in spreading the word. Promo copy and schedule is below - you can listen in on XM, DirecTV, or AOLRadio.com

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and XM's country Christmas channel, "Music City Holiday" has a gift for you! Gather your family and join our celebrity storytellers at the top of each hour, beginning at 3pm Eastern on Christmas Eve, for a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Start a new Christmas tradition with your family – and our special guests Bill Anderson, Trisha Yearwood, and Sugarland! All night long, Christmas Eve – on Music City Holiday - XM 105 / DirecTV channel 809 / AOLRadio.com

**Fans should note, readings begin within 2 minutes before or after the hour. Schedule runs 3pm ET (Noon Pacific) to 3am ET (Midnight Pacific)

ET / Artist

3pm – Sugarland
4pm – Trisha Yearwood
5pm – Bill Anderson
6pm – Sugarland
7pm – Trisha Yearwood
8pm – Bill Anderson
9pm – Sugarland
10pm – Trisha Yearwood
11pm – Bill Anderson
12am - Sugarland
1am – Trisha Yearwood
2am – Bill Anderson
3am – Sugarland

I have to tell you, the logs are all finished, and these sound amazing. All three readings are really something special. Each reading is followed up by that artist's song - with the exception of the 4pm ET, which goes directly into the Diamond Rio Artist Confidential.

Enjoy!

I see that these segments are the "featured highlight" for Monday on xmradio.com.

I also discovered that xmradio.com has a program schedule online that details what's on each station throughout the day for a two-week period. If this was there before, I could never find it and would only know what was on if it was a "featured" event or if you had told us about a show.

Oh excellent!

The online program guide is new -- it just launched last week, and they're still working out some of the bugs. And typos. LOL
