Happy CMA Convergence Day!

LOL - that's what I've been calling it around the office.

Any questions, comments, or concerns about the day, the new channel lineup, the weather in Nashville (supposed to rain) leave them here and I'll check in as I can.

I should be able to blog from the press room tonight.

Having fun reading the stuff over at xmfan. I am liking Prime Country at the moment since I have heard a few KM songs already.

I read that Shania is the surprise appearance.

Prime Country music is EXACTLY the same as US Country -- Jay Thomas is scheduling it still, and using the USC database, just has new production.

Unlike Roadhouse, which was built from scratch.

Shania would be interesting. I'd be surprised if it was anyone country though. My money is still on Costner.

I just hope the weather doesn't go crazy. I'll be standing out in it from 2pm and on.

:0( no more Jon Anthony on Highway 16? But Jessica Wade and Al Skop are new!

Found the new channel line up in pdf format online. Printed it out and surfing the radio waves!

Have to remind myself to be a little like 'Mikey'. Remember that commercial -

'I'mmm not gonna eat - YOUUUU eat it! I'm not gonna eat! HEY lets give to Mikey. He won't it, he hates everything! Hey Mikey he likes it!!' )What was that cereal again?) In other words we just have to give it a try right?

he he - Happy Convergence Day!

People.com is reporting Shania will be a presenter tonight. If this is the big surprise everyone is talking about. I guess we'll have to wait and see tonight. Can't wait!

I've read Shania as presenter and performer, and also Bruce seems to be performing as well. Who knows! :)

So far 16 seems to be the same as well, except for the surprise chick d.j. :) Listened to Margaritaville on the way in...like that we have Bruce now, too!

Yes, Jon is off of middays -- it was rare he did the show anyway. He got a big promotion and has his hands full right now firing people and re-launching channels. hee hee hee.

He will continue to host ShortCuts and Driver's Ed as he's available.

Does he hire people, too? ;-)

Producer J. said...

No... not during a merger.

sandi said...
