Reports From Los Angeles!

Creating this post so that any of my readers who are out in L.A. can report in.

I'm so excited that 'Lish and Paula hooked up, since we failed to make that happen in KC. (Not from a lack of wandering the streets trying though!) Give each other a hug from me!

I'm not sure who else is out there, but feel free to chime in.

I leave in LA and am not going to see Garth until 1:00pm tomorrow. All of you out of towners welcome to sunny, southern California. The local country station is broadcasting live from Staples this morning if any of you want to venture out into the rain and go visit them. If you get a chance while in town you should go to Phillipe's for a dip sandwich. They are the best!! Better than In-n-out. It is on Alameda over by Union Station.
Enjoy Garth fanatics, sorry we couldn't have better weather for you.

Garth did an interview on our local station- he admitted he was in week 2 of a heavy cold, which usually he shakes with lots of 'orange juice, Halls, and sleep' but he must be getting older as that's not working.

Trisha and Huey were with him; the sound mix was bad tonight on CBS.

Um, I'm pretty sure I just saw the most amazing Garth show ever. Just sayin...

Both shows rocked and then some but the second show was absolutely incredible... I wish you could have all been there!

Trisha came out and they sang IAE and the crowd went ballistic... she almost had to stop. He was beaming like you wouldn't believe. Huey came out on the second show also - what a blast. He stuck around and sang one of his hits too. Both shows played 2 hours straight - but so strong.

UGH! Okay more to come later.

And Hollywood was cool too, but t'aint no G-man. :)

Garthnutts have taken over LA and it's pretty darn cool to see.

I was a little disappointed in the CBS show. If CBS was going to pick up all production costs, then why have commercials. We saw more commercials than we saw of Garth. We did get to see him sing IAE with Trisha which was great and I actually liked seeing Huey Lewis with Garth singing WFAL.

I agree Teach- I have about 27 minutes of Garth in an hour of recorded show; very diappointing. ANd they didn't get the audio problems sorted until MTAM.
