Nashville Star tonight!

I'm headed out to the Nashville Star kickoff party at the Wildhorse Saloon... when I get back I've got lots of scoop from the past 2 days in Music City. If you watch the show you have to come here and tell me what you thought. One cool thing is that the judges get to eliminate someone tonight...two someones, actually. And since Jon was in the audience for the first taping - I know who!

More later!

What is 'Nashville Star'???

Is it a chat show? I don't really care for them.

basically it is the country American idol

Alabama retired, before they killed each other. Randy is very much still at work. We see him much more in Nashville these days than we ever did when Alabama was around.

So how was the show/party? I really liked the woman who sang Walkin' After Midnight, and the one who sang Leave the Pieces. None of the guys really impressed me tonight.

Enjoyed the show

I agree with "ME" those two performances caught my attention most.

I fell asleep before the last guy or two sang and missed who was voted off, but I taped it so I'll rewind and watch the ending when I get home tonight.

I was impressed with the first and third girl singer (can't remember their names or what they sang...too early in the morning). The only guy I halfway liked was the first one (again, can't remember his name or what he sang), but I'll have to wait until I watch the rest of the show.

Overall, I didn't think any of them were as strong as prior seasons' contestants, but it's only the first week.

Well I totally missed it. I don't see much telly so I tend to watch non-fiction and I don't 'do' reality shows unless Gordon Ramsay is involved.

Well I enjoyed all the performances except for the one who sang "Boondocks"....I knew she was going!!
Anastasia was her usual harsh self and for a minute there, I thought she was having a wardrobe malfunction...LOL! You could teach her a thing or two about cleavage or too much cleavage J.;)
I enjoyed Blake's comments but Randy's were sometimes kinda awkward I thought. Jewel did a great job.

Not watching anymore. I don't think I could stomach weeks and weeks of COwboy Troy and Jewel. LOL
