Reason #777,777 that Big Machine ROCKS

These will be live reports from the Sprint Center with updates on tickets and information about any additional shows. (I'm pretty sure they're audio only reports, they are being serviced to radio.) They will be every 10 minutes -- and last 5 minutes.

In between the live reports, they have Garth vinettes. It will be good background inspiration while you're frantically hitting "refresh" at Ticketmaster.com

Have I mentioned I'm nowhere near a computer on Saturday? I'm expecting text messages from all of you with reports as you get tickets!

Very Cool. Heck it sure is an event! I hope the good people of Kansas will get tickets.

Okay, I thought that was a link to an announcement of some sort. I'm going to be a little busy at that time hitting the refresh button, so I won't be taking the time to tune in to see a live stream of the ticket frenzy going on in KC. :p

Maybe it's just me, but it seems kind of sadistic to want us all to watch other people getting their tix when the rest of us don't have a prayer. Hmmm.... Maybe when it sells out they will have an announcement to make for the rest of us not so fortunate souls??? HOPE!!! HOPE!!!!

This is seriously cool. :D

Yeah, I think so too.

The gang at Big Machine is completely exhausted... I'm going to come up with something to take them next week on behalf of GarthNutts everywhere to thank them for their efforts.

I love the way they think outside of the box.

Very impressive! At least it's something if we can't get tickets.

Am I missing something here. Whats the great part about it?

Okay that's just wicked cool. Big Machine rocks! Even if I don't live in Missouri. :)

Have I mentioned how much the g-man rocks for doing this concert?! Even though I'm not living in the right state - it's just cool.

Still don't get it...

What you're missing, Dave, is what Joyce posted about reports from the Sprint Center regarding additional shows being added and ticket sales, which I am interpreting to mean that we'll know as soon as additional shows are added and whether they will be available to everyone who wants to try for tickets, not just those in the KC area.

Paula (who is hoping that her computer doesn't crash again)

Oh, I thought it was good that rather then being able to watch the event, you can watch people 'trying' to get tickets. Sounds like a ridiculous idea to me.

I am totally excited. As I said on PG I am along for this ride and enjoy every new phase of this rollout plan. If the first concert is for locals, I think that's only fair, I'll just watch on tv. I'm just going to enjoy the ride and focus on the positive, what we have which as Lish said is an awesome full blown show or shows and some of the most exciting Garth times in years. Thank you Joyce for always getting us the Garth news and info we want before anyone else!

Pam said...

I agree with Dave.

But I hope all those wanting tickets get them. :D

Again... this link is not some sort of webcam that's going to zoom in on people crying at the Sprint Center. These are reports that radio can use to get the details all at once on the additional shows they will be rolling out, should the demand be there.

There's going to be a LOT of information coming out of KC on Saturday morning... this is their way to get it out to the masses all at once, via live reports from an on-site team that Big Machine has assembled.

And Ryan, thank you for the kind words. I'm a GarthNutt too, so it makes it easy.

I think I'll pass anyway. I'm only interested in seeing a stream of the concert.
