Umm... didn't see THAT coming

Well... ask and ye shall receive.

They just released a new Reba single.

The Justin Timberlake duet.

Discuss.

Better than having to hear LeeAnn Rimes a lot? :D

Don't get the CMA performance, though, unless it's to promote her album and Reba's nomination.

Funny, I was given the single with Faith Hill as the next one off of "Duets". But like with KC's new album, stations are playing several cuts from it.

Seriously? I am the number one Reba fan and didn't see this coming. It's a good song, but another pop artist? People are gonna talk. The Faith song would've been sooooo much better (even though radio seems to kind of hate her). Or the Kenny duet. I am with Dave ugh. But, I am happy that there is going to be a new single. There was a rumor going around that they weren't going to release a new single until after the holidays.

I guess Justin wasn't available, and she had to perform something with someone.

And I just LOVE LeAnn's song with her. Faith's too, although with Red Umbrella just out I wouldn't expect it to be a single at least for a while. But I hope it is eventually -- great song.

Now that they've come back to the Justin duet it seems even more pointless for them to have waited this long to release a 2nd single. I understand wanting to send out a duet with another country artist instead and needing to work things out with other artists' labels, but that process couldn't have been started earlier?

The Only Promise That Remains is a very pretty song. It should do well.

At least the album is holding up great. The Vince duet is my favorite.

You know what's interesting?

The digital release doesn't mention Justin. I had to look it up to remember who the duet partner was on this.

Surely they didn't edit him out for radio, did they?

I need to go download the single version and see if he's on there for sure.

Yeah, he's there.

Wow, the more Reba on the radio the better.

Although there are other songs of the album I would have preferred to be the next single, I have to say I think most of them would make great videos.

I think the Reba/Faith song would make a moving video and its extremely topical for all those families with loved ones serving overseas.

Would love to see the duet with Carole King as a video as well!

This is odd too because I've also been hearing a Justin/Beyonce duet on the radio. I wonder how this will all play out?

ps. I forgot to thank you for answering my question of what the next single was going to be when I commented on the reba duets sales post. Oops. I promise I have manners.
